Sandwich Panel – Holypan

Lavender offers specialist in-house training in the following processes:

Holypan is a thermoplastic sandwich panel consisting of a lightweight polypropylene-honeycomb core and fibreglass reinforced polypropylene-face sheets that are thermofused together by a lamination/melting process.

This panel has multiple and diverse applications due to its strength-to-weight ratio and its impact-absorbent properties. Holypan is 100% waterproof and will not rot.

Processing Holypan is simple. The panel’s thermoplastic constituents allow innovative fabricating techniques, such as thermoforming and thermowelding, which are not possible with conventionally produced composite panel.

Composite sandwich panels are used to provide cost-effective and significant weight reduction in sectors such as road, rail and marine transport, recreational vehicles and caravans, construction and building, and temporary structures.

Lavender Composite’s Brisbane, Melbourne and NZ facilities stock a comprehensive range of panel thicknesses from 12mm to 30mm and panel sizes up to 9000mm x 2500mm. For larger projects, customised sizes can be manufactured. Standard skin finishes are either natural or factory-applied two-pack polyurethane white.
